Doll

She looks up at me,

Still wearing the same expression.

Her deep unblinking green eyes

Peek from beneath tousled brown hair.

Her lips frozen forever

Into complete silence.

In my arms

She is so much smaller.

Yet, it is I who has changed.

With tears I let her go,

Her lifeless-light as a feather body

Falls back into the toy box

Leaving yet another memory.

This is beautiful! This poem is soo deep and thoughtful. I never would have thought one could write a poem like that on a doll. Wow!
